With the new Cyprus futsal league season approaching, I headed to Eleftheria Indoor Arena on 15 September to photograph a friendly between Omonia Futsal and Ararat Futsal.
It was my first time watching Ararat since last season, and their performance genuinely impressed me. Although it was a friendly, it left me looking forward to seeing more of them as the season unfolds.
Eleftheria is also a venue I particularly enjoy photographing. The lighting is a big part of that—it’s one of those details you appreciate immediately when you’re courtside with a camera, and one of the reasons I always look forward to returning.
An enjoyable evening of futsal and a welcome return to the action ahead of the new season.
